WingAmigos – Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following data from users to provide core functionality:

• Location Data: Used to show your position on the map during a ride. This is not stored permanently.
• Username & Wing Size: Temporarily stored to allow other users to see who is riding and with what equipment.
• Device Info: We do not collect any personally identifiable device information.

2. How We Use Your Data

Data is used to:

• Display real-time wingfoil sessions on the map.
• Notify users when a new ride starts (if notifications are enabled).

3. Data Storage

All session data is stored temporarily in Google Firebase Realtime Database. Session entries are automatically removed after a short time. We do not share your data with third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

WingAmigos uses:

• Google Firebase: For user session data and notifications.
• Windy API: For wind and weather data. No personal data is sent to Windy.

5. Children’s Privacy

This app is not intended for use by children under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children under this age.

6. User Control

You may:

• Disable location or notification permissions in your device settings.
• Remove your ride session by leaving the session in the app.
